Back when I worked at Facets, I made lists of hundreds of films-to-watch in my indispensable red Miquelrius notebook (graph paper, leather-look, 300 pages; gift of cousin Khanh with the Bruce Mau quote “For most of us, design is invisible. Until it fails.”). In an attempt to catch up with technology, I’ve been transcribing these film titles (with director, year and country) to an Excel spreadsheet.
