A few weeks ago, my mother and I were at Tai Nam grocery store discussing banh canh cua. Recently Moms had whipped up a nice batch and it was delicious. All of a sudden, from the other side of the aisle, a lady called out (in Vietnamese), “Can I get your recipe for banh canh cua?” Here’s a photo of my mother giving the lady a tutorial on banh canh cua.
